What kind of information can you get via RSS?

• Keep up with blogs
• News
• Weather
• Service alerts
• Current awareness/tables of contents
• Saved search results from databases
• Library reminders (overdues, hold notices, etc.--from some library catalogs, or using 3rd party software--NB: privacy issues)
• Package tracking (UPS, FedEx, etc.) (same privacy concerns?)
• Netflix queue!
• Get notified when a Wiki changes
• Social software apps (Flickr, social bookmarking, etc.)
• Podcasts

Basically, you can get information via RSS from any info provider who publishes their info in an RSS-friendly format.
